ABOUT FORGED COMPONENTS INC. (FCI)

Founded in 1997 by Karl Lyons, FCI is a fully integrated forging manufacturer and one of the leading pressure vessel connection companies. FCI has achieved continuous sustainable growth, positioning itself as one of the leading forging manufacturers in North America. The company has done so over the years by investing and reinvesting in forging, heat treating and machining equipment to expand its production capacity to stay ahead of our customers’ needs. FCI maintains a keen focus on creating value and delivering the highest quality products to our customers. Our vast knowledge and experience in the business enable us to meet some of the most challenging customer demands. We pride ourselves in being a dedicated 24/7 company, which allows us to expeditiously accommodate our customers’ needs in the most critical situations (i.e. refinery or plant shutdowns), while sustaining minimal downtime to their operations.

FCI is primarily an open die forging manufacturer that specializes in ASME pressure vessel connections, wellhead components, power products for the coal-fired and natural gas power plants, subsea flanges and fittings, as well as any type of custom forgings ranging from 5 pounds to 55,000 pounds for various applications in the oil and gas, petrochemical and power generation industries. We also have a significant presence on most of the Approved Manufacturers Lists (AMLs) with major downstream, midstream, engineering and distribution companies throughout North America.

The company maintains a vast finished and semi-finished forged product inventory of ASME pressure vessel connections, as well as an extensive supply of inventory in the form of bar, billets and ingots. The elements include various grades of carbon, low alloy, stainless, chrome moly and nickel alloy steels in compliance to ASME, ASTM and API forging specifications. In addition, we carry a large stock of raw material with restricted chemical composition. Restricted alloys such as Alky material suitable for Hydrofluoric Acid (HF) applications and restricted chrome moly material compliant with API 934 spec, make up a portion of our special product heats we have available on-site.
